Welcome to The Lemonade Factory - my creative community.
Three times a month, we gather around our virtual campfire to create together. We share space with two creative co-working calls and coffee chats, along with a monthly writing circle.
There are also weekly emails and an online Lemonade Stand - a chat space to cheerlead, commiserate, and celebrate one another.
Come on in, the lemonade’s just right.
Prefer to know more about what you’re signing up for before you make a decision?
I'm like that too. I think I've covered pretty much everything below, but please feel free to reach out directly or comment below if there's anything else you'd like to know.
The juice that’s worth the squeeze
No matter where we are in the world, or what’s going on in our everyday, life feels pretty full of lemons at the moment.
Sometimes, we can just squeeze them ourselves and get on with it, but other times, a little sweetness makes all the difference.
After years of navigating my own lemons, like building (and breaking) creative businesses, spending seven years on the road as a travel writer, and navigating my mum’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis while on the other side of the world, I know how hard it can be to go alone.
Through it all, I’ve learned that having dedicated time and a supportive space to create is often the biggest game-changer.
That’s why The Lemonade Factory was born.
What is The Lemonade Factory?
It’s a creative community and online space where you can show up for your art and creative practice, mingle with other writers and creatives from around the world, and crowd-source support, insights, and inspiration.
Twice a month, we meet for co-creating calls, where you get to show up for your art. These are followed by coffee-break chats where anyone who wants to stick around and share is always welcome to, while others might just want to pop in for a quick catch up.
These creative calls are a no-pressure, no-perfectionism space for experimentation, for squeezing and sampling ideas - alongside other creatives from all over the world doing the same.
As a professional writer, I know how tough it can be to set aside time to create - especially at the moment. And especially alone.
Over the past 15 years of trying to wrangle my mind, I've learned that I work best online in co-creating spaces. That being alongside others with a set time to meet removes the stress of starting. It helps me show up for my art and feels like a tiny little act of rebellion in a world that says art is frivolous.
The Lemonade Stand
In addition to our co-creating calls and coffee chats, the Lemonade Stand is our community hub - a gathering spot for our creative selves.
Each month, we’ll come together for a writing circle to share our words and wisdom.
These writing circles are a place of connection, creativity, and community, where we write to questions and prompts and then the floor is open to share what comes up - either by reading our words, how it felt to write them, or anything else.
While I totally believe in the magic of creativity, I also believe when creatives come together - and are witnessed through and beyond their words - a special kind of alchemy occurs.
Y’know, like rising lemonade lifts all creatives. Or something.

No obligation, just invitation
Everything here is optional. Come at your own space, do things your way. This is more like a lemonade lighthouse - a space to dip in and out whenever you need.
There are no wagons here, nothing to fall off when life gets busy. It's just space to come to whenever you want to create, connect, and recharge.
With love and lemonade,
Cassie x
