Definitely identify with this idea of searching for answers in all the wrong places. I outsourced my decision making for so long and am still guilty of it in some respects!
Man, it's so easy to do, hey?! I feel like even in school we're taught that all the answers are outside of us and in everyone else - especially in teachers. I remember how much trouble I used to get in for backchatting and calling them out for things they didn't know. Sometimes I wish I could still be that brash and bolshy! But I'm finding my way back to myself and into all those decisions, even when it isn't always easy. That said, it definitely helps to have friends like you to walk this path alongside and help me with gut checks when I need them! 💜
Oh my gosh yes all this unlearning we have to do after being told how to not only think but feel and act! Life is a ride so having supportive companions definitely helps 💛
